I See Something!!! #Comr. Abdullahi Kabir Faskari
The administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello
Masari has been marked with ups and downs in the past and that’s true
in any government regardless of good intentions.
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that Katsina
State is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream
of our founders is alive in the Masari Led Administration; who still questions
the Confidence of the Masari led Administration, here are your answers...
At a time when our economy is still recovering from the
Great Recession, The Masari led Administration atop priorities has to be jobs and
growth. That has been the focus plan of
his administration. . It’s a plan to
reward small businesses and manufacturers that create jobs within state, not outside
the state or overseas. It’s a plan to
give people the chance to get the education and training that businesses are
looking for right now. It’s a plan to put folks back to work, reconstructing our
roads and our bridges, and other infrastructure. And it’s a plan to reduce our deficit in a
balanced and responsible way.
Their goal was to
free us not only from the shackles of discrimination, but from the shadow of
poverty that haunts too many of our communities. These are difficult challenges that the masari led
Administration are fighting for and trying to fix. They also believe, No
solution they offer will be perfect. But perfection has never been their goal. Their
goal has been to try and make whatever difference they can. Their goal has been
to engage in the hard but necessary work of bringing Katsina one step closer to
the State they know we can be.
The Masari led Administration knows what it requires,
first of all, having a vision about where we want to be. It requires us
recognizing that it will be hard work getting there. It requires us being able
to overcome and persevere in the face of roadblocks and disappointments and
failures. It requires us reflecting internally about who we are and what we
believe in, and facing up to our own fears and insecurities, and admitting when
we're wrong. And that same thing that we have to do in our individual lives
that these guys talked about, that's what we have to do for our communities.
And it will not be easy, but it can be done.
If they do that, if they strive with every fiber of our
being to strengthen our middle class, to extend ladders of opportunity for
everybody who is trying as hard as they can to create a better life for themselves;
if they do everything in their power to keep our children safe from harm; if
they fulfill our obligations to one another and to future generations; if they
make that effort, then I’m confident -- I’m confident that they will write the
next great chapter in our story.
The Masari led Administration also believes, if they gather
together what works, They can extend more ladders of opportunity for anybody
who’s working to build a strong, middle-class life for themselves. Because in
Katsina, your destiny shouldn’t be determined by where you live, where you were
born. It should be determined by how big you’re willing to dream, how much
effort and sweat and tears you’re willing to put in to realizing that dream.
Governor masari who in his perception believes the Katsina
people voted for action, not politics as usual. We elected him to focus on our jobs, not his. And then working towards
giving every child every chance in life; building stronger communities and new
ladders of opportunity that they can climb into the middle class and beyond;
and, most importantly, keeping them safe from harm. And in that spirit, his administration is
working tremendously and building consensus around the challenges that they can
only solve together as a team.
The masari led administration atop priority is to raise the
standards for teaching and learning -- the first time that’s happened in a
generation.
Teachers matter; So instead of bashing them, or defending
the status quo, they offer schools a deal. Give them the resources to keep good
teachers on the job, and reward the best ones. And in return, grant schools
flexibility: to teach with creativity and passion; to stop teaching to the
test; and to replace teachers who just aren’t helping kids learn. That’s a
bargain worth making.
In short, this is no
time for delay. It is a time for action -- strong, forward-looking action on
the pending education in other to bring the light of learning to every community; strong, forward-looking action on youth employment
opportunities; and lot more.
Governor Masari, the real hero of this struggle. His actions
and protests, his courage to risk safety and even to risk his life, have awakened
the conscience of the state. His demonstrations have been designed to call
attention to injustice, designed to provoke change, designed to stir reform. He
is ever ready to make good the promise of the katsina people.
I see something in you but I don’t know what its but if you
continue with the Good Work you have started, the katsina people will help me find that something in you!!!
