"A LION DOES NOT CONCERN HIMSELF WITH THE BARK OF A DOG". #ATTORNEY GENERAL AND COMMISSIONER FOR JUSTICE KATSINA STATE,BAR. EL-MARZUK
The president voice of the youth comr. Abdullahi kabir
faskari make this statement open shortly after breaking fast with His
Excellency The Executive Governor Of Katsina State,Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
The president in his statement said; Let me begin by
thanking governor Masari for his contributions to Katsina state. In so many
different ways, he exemplifies what we mean by the word "citizen."
And so we are very grateful to him for all the work he has done; and I'm
thankful for the gracious and thoughtful effort to interface with major
stakeholders in the state in this holy month of ramadan.
The president in his words says; I am impress with the way
and manner Governor Masari is leading and trying to move the state forward. The Pres. added, Governor Masari in his words addresses the issues of Local Government Area Councils. Governor Masari says,as we all know that the economic crisis we face is unlike any we've
seen in our lifetime. It's a crisis of falling confidence and rising debt, of
widely distributed risk and narrowly concentrated reward; We know that even if
we do everything that we should, this crisis was years in the making, and it
will take more than weeks or months to turn things around.
But make no mistake: A failure to act, and act now, will
turn this crisis into a catastrophe and guarantee a longer recession, a less robust
recovery, and a more uncertain future. Millions more jobs will be lost. More
businesses will be shuttered. More dreams will be deferred. And that's why I
feel such a sense of urgency about the economic recovery and reinvestment plan
that will fetch out ghost workers within state. With it, we can save or create
more jobs, doing things that will strengthen our state for years to come. It's
not merely a prescription for short-term spending -- it's a strategy for
long-term economic growth within the state
At the same time, we know that this recovery and reinvestment plan is only the first part of what we need to do to restore prosperity and secure our future. We also need a strong and viable financial system to keep credit flowing to businesses and families alike. And my administration will do whatever it takes to restore our financial system. Our recovery depends on it. And by so doing, that will reflect some of the lessons of past mistakes while laying the foundation of the future.
Now despite all of this, the plan's not perfect. No plan is.
I can't tell you for sure that everything in this plan will work exactly as we
hope, but I can tell you with complete confidence that a failure to act will
only deepen this crisis, as well as the pain felt by many katsina people will
widen.
Governor masari added; As long as I hold this office, I will
do whatever it takes to put this economy back on track and put katsina state back
to work. I believe deeply that we cannot solve the challenges of our time
unless we solve them together, unless we perfect our union by understanding
that we may have different stories, but we hold common hopes; that we may not
look the same and may not have come from the same place, but we all want to
move in the same direction:
The president voice of the youth in his words also added; "I can never be afraid to share my opinion about anyone still living in Nigeria , A lion does not concern himself with the bark of a dog" and i will not support what i believe is not in the best interest of katsina people, No matter who is putting it forwar or who's behind it. The pres. also finds the Attorney General and commissioner for Justice, katsina state statement very
insulting and a slap to governor Masari led administration and has call on him
to test his words before he spit them out to avoid further occurrence of such utterances. Bare in mind that what you utter today can come back to hunt you tomorrow and also to avoid the on-foreseeing circumstances that may arise as result of this manner
less attitude.
