Katsina State Governor donates mobility aids to physically-challenged in Katsina State

Katsina State Governor Rt.Hon. Aminu Bello  masari has said that his  administration is willing to make an unprecedented mark in the lives of every disabled person in the State for the good posterity.
Governor Masari stated  this in Katsina When About 360 persons living with disability in Katsina State have received mobility aids aimed at assisting them in their daily activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Masari represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs, Talatu Nasir said government is committed towards assisting physically challenged persons in the society.
According to her, the ministry had established cooperative society for the people with disabilities through which soft loans are given out. “Many have become self-reliant from the sustainable income they generate from their businesses,” she said, adding that measures were being taken to renovate and equip all rehabilitation centers to make them provide various skills and trades.
