I See Something!!! #Comr. Abdullahi Kabir Faskari

The administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello Masari has been marked with ups and downs in the past and that’s true in any government regardless of good intentions. If there is anyone out there who still doubts that Katsina State is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in the Masari Led Administration; who still questions the Confidence of the Masari led Administration, here are your answers... At a time when our economy is still recovering from the Great Recession, The Masari led Administration atop priorities has to be jobs and growth. That has been the focus plan of his administration. .  It’s a plan to reward small businesses and manufacturers that create jobs within state, not outside the state or overseas.  It’s a plan to give people the chance to get the education and training that businesses are looking for right now. It’s a plan to put folks back to work, reconstructing our roads and o...

Nigeria’s presidential jets are available for hire – Odigie-Oyegun

Image
In this interview with  JOHN ALECHENU , National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, speaks about the challenges of managing the nation, President Buhari’s policies and other national issues. Excerpts The opposition Peoples Democratic Party has accused your party of being responsible for its leadership crisis. How do you respond to this? All I can say is that they cannot eat their cake and have it. When their factional chairman left us, they were celebrating, they were happy saying oh, we’ve got a big fish. Now that they see the kind of man he is, they are crying wolf. We have nothing to do with the travails of the PDP because in reality; we want a virile opposition. We want an opposition that is responsible, that has ideas to contribute. They have failed to do this so far. So, it is not of any value to us that they are heating up and that they are losing the little bit of the sense of direction they had left. They are just looking for a sca...

I Write At A Time Of Great Tension Between Governor Masari And Social Media Community.-By Abdullahi Kabir Faskari

Image
Tension rooted between the social media communities and His Excellency The Executive Governor Of katsina State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari shortly after a publication made by some unscrupulous people within the state in a bid to create tension and distress. Quoting, and presenting the governor’s Sallah message to katsina people in the wrong way. I know there's been a lot of publicity about this speech by the misinterprets. But the truth is, So long as the relationship is between Governor Masari and social media community remains. The relationship still remains the same. A relationship that was based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that the social media community are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, the social media communities overlap and share common principles. Principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings. So let there be no doubt -- let there be no doubt: Social ...

An Open Letter To Fmr. Pres. Obasanjo : What will Yorubas remember Obasanjo for?

Image
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is considered a national icon and an elder statesman in Nigeria’s politics and a respected former president in the continent. In this open letter to the former president, Bada Yusuf points out that in spite of the successes and recognition Obasanjo may receive, his work is incomplete if the Yoruba’s don’t benefit from it. Excellency Sir, Chief Oluṣẹgun Mathew Okikiọla Arẹmu Ọbasanjọ; as it is pertinent to note your achievement in our national politics especially in the area of installing democracy in Nigeria. You remain the longest serving Yoruba leader at the national level, your transition of power from military to civilian and much later from one civilian to another remain a feat that should forever be celebrated in the Western part of the country, but unfortunately, the Yorubas appear to be the casualties of your political achievement. I am writing this letter to you because of the state of affairs in the Yoruba nation, this is not for partis...
