The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello Masari has today present the 2017 budget tag "Budget of stabization of the restoration Agender" before the katsina state assembly this afternoon. The pres. (Voice O The Youth) Comr. Abdullahi Kabir Faskari, unbehalf of the good people of katsina state has shown his appreciations to Governor Masari for doing everything humanly possible to move the state to a better state of katsinawa's dream despite the economic hardship being faced in the past 1yr. Government find's it very difficult to perform to the expectation of the people.   But not withstanding, so much progress has being made and identified so far, within and across the state. The " Budget of restoration of hope" in katsina state has done so much in the areas of Education, Health, provision of potable drinking water for both human and animal consumption, Infrastructural Development, Poverty Alleviation, Economic Empowerment, Security, etc.

Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has commended the appointment of Amina Mohammed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed optimism that the current economic recession will ebb in 2017. The President made this statement open in Abuja while declaring an induction course organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Nigerian Career Ambassadors-designate who were recently cleared by the Senate. President Buhari said: “We are optimistic that the external factors that partly contributed to push our economy into recession will ebb in 2017. Until then, I regret that the resources available to fund our missions abroad will not be as robust as we would like. “We are working hard to turn around our national economy by effectively reforming our macroeconomic environment through measures, some of which were outlined in my budget speech to the National Assembly last week.” The President, who said the prevailing economic circumstances have led to a restructuring of Nigerian missions abroad, reminded the Ambassadors-designate that, “as we are all making g

13 states of Nigeria’s federation have submitted verified lists of graduates engaged under the N-Power job creation programme of the federal government.   This comes as the government prepares to commence the payment of monthly stipends to the 200,000 graduates drawn from all 36 states. A statement from the Office of the Vice President says some of the graduates have been deployed to their primary places of assignment, and payment of the 30,000 naira stipends will commence this month. The states that have completed the verification include Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Cross Rivers, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina and Kogi States.
